Scam texts claiming to be from the Court have been reported. These messages include links to fake payment websites and are fraudulent. The Court does not send texts requesting payment. You can report scams and suspicious communications to the Federal Trade Commission.

News Release: Resumption of Electronic Filings

October 1, 2025

The Kern County Superior Court will be transitioning to a new case management system, eCourt, effective October 6, 2025. Effective Monday at 8 a.m., the court will no longer accept paper filings from represented parties.  Please see the news release.
