Family Law Facilitator

The Office of the Family Law Facilitator is available to assist Self-Represented parties in child and spousal support cases. The Family Law Facilitator’s services include:

• Providing general procedural information, blank forms and sample packets regarding family law issues.
• Reviewing court forms for completeness (Facilitator Staff will not review default documents.  For assistance with preparing default documents, please contact the Self Help Center).
• Preparing orders after hearing and judgments.
• Helping customers referred by the judge, other court departments and Department of Child Support Services (DCSS).
• Meeting with and preparing child support calculations and other related documents for customers with cases currently assigned to the Department of Child Support Services (DCSS).

Important Notice

Topics discussed at the Family Law Facilitator's Office may not be appropriate for minor children. If you have minor children, you are encouraged to make other child care arrangements while visiting the facilitator’s office. If your minor child does accompany you during your visit, please be advised that you may be asked to return at a later date if having your child with you makes it difficult to provide service.
